Apartment Review for York Apartments - Washington, DC

York apartments are nice but kind of over-priced. I lived in an efficiency here and it was really small for the nearly $900/month it cost. Parking is only available one street over, and it costs an additional $150/month. There is no front desk, and our security guard is nice but is probably going on 80 (NOT an exageration) and reminds us of Barney Fife. The maintenance man is super nice, and the office help is generally helpful. A lock-out will set you back $50 cash, so don't forget your keys!! Cats are allowed for an additional fee. It seems like they are forever painting the hallway, which means it looks nice but I hope you like how paint smells. There are 9 floors but only 4 washers and 4 dryers. Overall, I would say it's 'okay.'
