Apartment Review for Twenty Eight Hundred Woodley Road Nw - Washington, DC

Safety - The consierge desk is NOT open 24 hours. They have cameras on the outside of the building, but if no one is watching, what good do they do? I've heard about parking garage break-ins from other tenants and some other concerning incidents. Parking - No guest parking available. Cars have been damaged or broken into in the "secure" garage. Appearance - Decent art deco building with some charm. The outside is better than the inside. Hallways are VERY dark. If you live on a floor with smokers, there's no ventilation and the entire hallway will stink. Office Staff - Some of the consierge personnel are quite friendly - others aren't so friendly. The manager can be very rude and uncooperative. Maintenance - Good luck with this one. If you're in need of a repair, be prepared to wait, and wait, and wait. And after a great deal of arguing with management and maintenance, be prepared to clean-up the huge mess left by the maintenance crew. Condition of unit - Average. Most of the kitchens I've seen are in serious need of a remodel or repair. Noise level - Depends entirely on the unit's location and the politeness of your neighbors. Overall rating - 2 1/2
