Apartment Review for The Palisades - Washington, DC

The bath tub drain in the apartment is rusted with no sieve. The bathroom sink has green growth underneath and leaks. The kitchen sinks are stained, the air conditioning is noisy and rather be off then on in summer... lots and lots of problems in the apartment. That is how the apartment was given to me. I was not given a chance to see it before moving in - was told that it was being cleaned. After seeing the problems the management has failed to address the problems. The person who does the in house maintenance came once, opening door without a knock. He looked at the drains and sink, said he did not see a problem. Voice mails and maintenance hot line number don't get answered quick enough. Even calling the Cap city management who runs the place will not get the maintenance team to fix problems in the unit. Also saw roaches in the unit. This is the worst management in the area. Only good point is the neighborhood which is safe and has Safeway and Wholefoods nearby.
