Apartment Review for Saratoga - Washington, DC

Do not move on to the 9th floor. This building leaks everytime there is a hard rain. The water comes through the light fixtures. Management is not proactive--you have to complain multiple times before anything is done. The gym flooded 2x in the year I was in this building. The building looks nice from the outside, but the apartments are falling apart. My carpet was dirty when I moved in. When they finally got a carpet cleaner out, there was still damage to the carpet that had to be covered with a rug. I could smell everything the neighbors cooked--fish, brocolli, bacon and eggs like I had just cooked it. After six months of complaining and finally threatening to break my lease, they fixed the problem. If you don't complain about anything, management is fine, but if you have a problem they make you feel like your a whiner. This was the worst and most expensive apartment I've ever lived in.
