Apartment Review for Livingston Apt - Washington, DC

When we signed our Lease to rent a unit in this building, Adam Hill was the Leasing person who dealt with us. We were not in the building a day, before Adam informed us that it was the Dentist in the building who not only held three of the Parking spaces in that closet of a building, what the Dentists’ name was, and how Management was continuously taking this man to rent for non-payment of his rent. Adam went through a lot during the short time that we were residing there, but he always found the time inform us that our sexuality was questioned by the “Engineers’ girlfriend, who it was among the men in the building that he himself had the hots for and had actually flirted with, their response to him, and things like so. Adam almost lost his job last year due to his consistence absence. When he returned to the building after a number of days absent, he gave us a story that could best be told only while watching it on the screen of our projector, since Adam has been Audio and Video taped since the first day that he stepped into our Apartment. We were extremely careful not to share any of our personal business with this man, who was recently moved to another of the properties that Bernstein Management manages, telling us that he had been “promoted”, and would not be returning to the Livingston. Adam told us that he had nearly been fired at one point, and was informed of this through an e-mail - one that he wished that he had remembered to bring along the day he returned to his job. Personally, I think it would have been to his benefit to keep stepping, particularly when you are supposed to be able to “trust” the Management Team of a building not to disclose your personal information, problems or anything else to other Tenants. I made sure that I kept my Video camera powered, on and aimed dead at this man, each and every time he came to our apartment for anything, so that there be no mistaking what he said, when he said it and who he said it about. Thinking about moving into the Livingston? Trust and believe that your business will be put out into the streets. After all, him being moved to another building with him claiming that he got a promotion would never sit well with you … not after you view our videos of his statements.
