Apartment Review
Born and raised in Washington, DC
Review Date: 7/2/2010 Reviewer: Anonymous
Dear People, I don't live in these apartments. I was born and raised in Washington, DC in the Takoma Park section and know the Wash Metro area extremely well!. When I fist saw them builing these apartments, I said they were a joke. The put them up so fast, and the siding material they use looks very cheap. It is not an attractive complex at all. When they opened that 7/11 I got off the train to go there so I can get a look at the development. Looking at it from the train/platform is deceiving. They do not look like they were built well and those balconies are so tiny. I'm amazed at what they are charging for these cracker jack boxes. The benefit I see is that the metro is right there. Someone mentioned in a review that they rent to a lot of section 8 residents. That's exactly what's going to happen in this economy. They price these places so high and people are not willing to pay $1500-$2500 to rent this mess. That's where section 8 comes in. If you have that kind of money to rent an apt., find a house or townhouse to rent instead. You may come out better and there may even be an option to purchase. People, please stop paying that kind of money to rent these places that's not going to give you the level of services for which you are paying for. This is insane. When your lease is up, please move. There a much better places in DC/MD & VA you can spend that money on. Remember, the good thing about living in DC is that we are connected to Northern VA, and PG,Mont. County and surrounding areas. There's a lot out there, just take your time and look. May GOD be with you in your search! |
