Apartment Review for Fort Totten Station - Washington, DC

The biggest problem I have with this apartment is the office staff. They will do anything for you when you are looking at the apartments, but after you sign that lease...good luck! They are very rude and will sit at their desks for what seems like forever until they grace you with their attention. I have had multiple maintenance and utility problems since I have been here. My (very small) washer/dryer has leaked into the apartment below mine and has been leaked on. After the water from the apartment above us leaked onto our dryer, the dryer stopped working. Maintenance said that it still worked, we were just doing it wrong. In addition, since the year I have lived here, my cable wires from the electric room has been mysteriously unplugged 3 times. As I am writing this review, I have a dark kitchen because the light has been blown for 2 weeks and of course, has not been fixed. The locking systems on the entrance doors seems to be faulty, as I have approached many times and the door has not been properly shut. Overall, the horrible office staff paint a nice picture, but it's not all it's cracked up to be.
