Apartment Review
DO NOT MOVE HERE
Review Date: 6/16/2010
Reviewer: Anonymous

It's a ghetto with high violent and property crime, and is infested with mice, street gangs, loitering, litter/trash/garbage/pollution, drugs including syringes and cocaine bags in the street and on sidewalks, in the playground, etc., and recently infested with roaches due to the accumulating TRASH garbage and food waste that residents throw everywhere in the hallways. Maintenance barely speaks English, the water is turned off without notice at random periods of the day, the parking way is extremely narrow and terrible if you live in the cut, and lighting is poor at night. Gunshots, loud fighting, food deliverers and everyone else is afraid to drive up into the apartment complex because it is so bad. No large grocery store in walking distance, tiny closets and bathrooms, tiny kitchens, and the buildings are just in terrible terrible shape. They are so bad that they must be inspected constantly by the Department of Housing, and according to recent community meetings, many of the buildings in the complex are NOT meeting standards after these inspections! This is a neighborhood that is in abject poverty, filled with single-mother families, truant teenagers, criminal street gangsters, rampant vandalism and garbage waste, and many tenants are welfare recipients, or on Section 8 (not that THAT is bad, but usually areas with this many people in its population is designated as being "the projects". Do not move here unless you are homeless and absolutely need a place to live, but do NOT stay here as a HOME. It is getting worse everyday, especially the pest infestations, due to the neighborhood being horrendously filled with garbage all the time and everywhere.
