Apartment Review for Empire Apt - Washington, DC

I have lived here since I graduated from GWU. And the change is downhill. The resident staff is lovely but they cannot make up for Cafritz Company which is incompetent, greedy, cheap and does not realize that a paying customer is a client. I have noticed the lack of service which used to be acceptable given reasonable rent except that rent is increasing regularly as much as possible. The geographic location cannot make up for the fact any longer that the building is falling apart. Last week electrical fires broke out!! (Yet my rent was increased again.) Cafritz did NOTHING to notify tenants and we came home to locked doors and had to harrass Cafritz to finally get the answer that we are homeless for a minimum of THREE WEEKS. How is that for service?
