Management failed to correctly file my intent to vacate form, so even after I turned in my keys on my last day, they still thought I lived there for two more months and did not even bother to noticed the piling up mail or the fact that not a soul came or went or even paid rent. Instead of trying to contact me, they simply filed with an attorney, even though they: had my keys, had my move-out information, had my forwarding address, had my telephone number. So now, my credit score has tanked, and they want me to cough up two months rent to a collection agency they have hired who is trying to scare me into litigation just so they may make some dough. Stay away from Cafritz, and if you don't be mindful of making several copies of your paperwork and keeping EVERYTHING safe.
