Apartment Review for Borger Management Inc - Washington, DC

I had the same problem as the poster above. I paid my rent, they deposited the check, and one Sunday a process server came a knocking with a summons to landlord tenant court. I was being sued for eviction by Borger. When I tried to get the case dismissed I went through the property manager who told me it would be dismissed and that I did not have to appear in court. However, two weeks later I received a notice of hearing from the Landlord Tenant court. Now I'm stuck missing a day of work, a huge negative on my credit and a really awful relationship with the management. I never got an apology, in fact they were down right rude about the entire thing. STAY AWAY. Don't let the reasonable prices and decent apartments convince you. The most problematic aspect of the entire company is the office staff; they never answer the phone, are incredibly rude, and are rarely in. My building's maintenance man was wonderful and the units were clean, but it does not make up for the serious problems with Borger.
