Apartment Review for Barac Company - Washington, DC

Barac units are cheap, but there's a good reason for that, which I found out way too late: They're poorly maintained. The entire building, from the basement to the top floor, is infested with bed bugs, and neither the property manager nor Barac seem too concerned. The elevator frequently doesn't work, the place stinks to high heaven when it gets warm, and your mail will disappear if it' s too big to fit in the tiny mailbox. Also the laundry machines don't work, and you can count on your neighbors leaving trash in the hallways. The location's great, and so is the rent, but make sure there aren't any insects around. And that you can tolerate stench and garbage.
