Apartment Review for Barac Company - Washington, DC

I moved into a Barac Apt. over a year ago. I found the apt. appealing b/c of the cheap rent ($599). After living there for several months I began to have a horrible mouse problem (I mean real bad). When I would complain they would send out pest people, but the pest people only put down mouse traps, something I could do myself. This did not solve the problem. While it would catch mice, it did not stop mice form entring my apartment. So I took matters into my own hands and looked for every hole/crack in my apartment and filled it with spakle or put masking tape over it. It took a while to find all the holes (there were several), but after a couple of months I seem to have found all the holes. I agree with people about the rude management, there are total bitches. But you get what you pay for. The bottom line is that Barac can work, if you make it work. All you need is some paint, nice furniture, spackle, and some mouse traps.
