Apartment Review for Altamont Condominiums - Washington, DC

the place is old, the residents are old (and stuck up)...thoroughly inspect your unit before moving in. my landlord and his wife didn't warn me that their air conditioning unit was next to my living room window so I basically haven't slept a full night since I've moved in (despite trying to negotiate a solution - they simply stuffed my window cracks so now it's noisy AND i can't open my windows) to reiterate: This place is old, landlords could be stubbornly insensitive...and don't let the roofdeck foold you... renter beware! make sure the heat, fixtures, EVERYTHING is on and works before you agree to move in!
