I grew up from being a school girl to a professional working woman in this building. Eventhough management has made remarkable changes to make these apartments mordern it still has serious downfalls that one must consider before moving in. THE PEST PROBLEM IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. I mean these are HEALTHY MICE we are talking here. Roach problems? Yes Please!! I GUESS building management is doing the best that it can do but it just isn't cutting the mustard. I remember when The Woodner was the place to be Uptown. It was an acquired place. Rent increases often, it is noisy (but what do you expect you are living in an apartment) the trash compactor is always stinky, we have LOS VATOS LOCOS y LADRONES throwing their hoods up by tagging it all over the place (on walls and elevators) etc. These apartments have plenty room for improvements. HOwever if convenience is your waying factor and you have money to blow, I say go for it. I hope you do not own a car because parking is off the hook and their fake garage does not handle your vehicle with care like they are being paid to do. Do not be afraid to ask questions when you are on tour because when you move in you will be kicking yourself because you did not. Do not be afraid to take a second look and keep your options open when searching for an apartment. You should get what you pay for... quality!
