The price is ok for a Studio apartment and the size is also good. It is a very large complex with a lot of ammentities on site (i.e. grocery store, dry cleaners, hair salon, doctors office, video store etc.). It is not very clean and it does not appear the apartment management even tries to keep it clean. The stairwells are always dirty, the trash compact room is unkept and the rules not enforced, the only clean entrance is the front of the building. Most of the elavators do not work well and the two laundry rooms are often littered with non-working machines. Once you are in your apartment it seems to be an ok place. If you keep your place clean you should not have to much problem with roaches. The AC is the worst of anyplace I have ever been. It simple does not work very well (at least in the apartment I was in) and there is nothing they can do to make it any better. It blows out cool air but not cold air for those hot days. To sum it up, The Woodner is a good place to move to if you are in a hurry to find a place. They seem to always have available units...once you are there for a while you will quickly realize it is not amoung the elite in apartments as it once was. One other comment, it is very hard to get a parking space. The waiting list is very long and off site parking is nearly impossible to find.
