| After staying here for a year, we've had the following problems:
Assigned an already occupied parking space to us (when this mistake was brought to office staff attention they gave us a new space AND charged us more money for it);
They never entered our number into the entry system so we can buzz people in (after repeated reminders to do so - we finally gave up);
Our car was coated with rust from leaky pipes and while a promise of the cleaning was made, no money was received);
Office staff and maintenance took HOURS to respond to emergency repair requests (some as serious as water rushing from the apartment above) and even after repairs were done upstairs, no one from the Saratoga came to verify our apartment received no damage and that we could safely turn on electrical equipment like the AC which had been soaked during the time period.
And finally, you are required to provide 60-day notice before moving out which then allows them to show your apartment immediately upon notification with no more than a call as they are heading up. The staff has relayed that even calling is a courtesy they don't have to extend (even though we're still paying full rent to stay here and have not broken our lease) - intrusive and rude to say the least! |
